“And have I not told you that what you mistake for madness is but over-acuteness of the sense?”

DENIZEN Theatre brings Edgar Allan Poe’s classic tale of murder and maddness to the stage in a brand new solo show.  In comfortless surroundings, a young man plans and commits the "perfect crime." When a detective stops by on a quite different matter, it becomes apparent that the young man has little to fear. The only trouble is, he can't stop the pounding of the dead man's heart. Will his cleverness outsmart the detective? Or will he ultimately succumb to his own insanity? A murderously, haunting tale for the Fall season.

The show runs approximately 60 minutes with no intermission.
