IF I NEEDED SOMEONE

Postponed Until Further Notice

The DENIZEN Theatre regrets to inform our patrons that we have decided to postpone our production of the World Premiere of IF I NEEDED SOMEONE by Neil LaBute.

The health & safety of our artists and community is our primary responsibility.

It deeply saddens me to have to make this decision at this time, however we look forward to continuing to help raise empathy in the world through powerful storytelling in this community for many years to come.

                With Gratitude,

Synopsis

Two young people meet at a party and decide to go back to the woman’s apartment to keep the night going. Both afraid to call it ‘a date,’ they drink beer and sit on the bed as they tip-toe around what they believe to be the new rules of engagement in the #METOO era.

By turns funny, uncomfortable, & revealing, IF I NEEDED SOMEONE dissects the way we live now with equal amounts of wit and pain, marking out the minefields that riddle the modern relationship landscape.
