Robert, a death row prisoner about to be executed, wants an apple pie. So that’s what his mother Miriam is making him. After his turbulent childhood, this is the one final thing she can give him.
Come join us for this powerhouse one-woman play that will stir your heart but also surprisingly, make you laugh out loud, as it explores the ideas of mercy, motherhood and madness.
**APPLES IN WINTER by Jennifer Fawcett contains strong language and adult themes. The show runs approximately 75 minutes with no intermission. Patrons will be required to wear a mask for the duration of their visit.

Playwright
Jennifer’s plays have been produced in regional theatres across the country. She was the NNPN Playwright-in-Residence at Curious Theatre (Denver) and co-founder of Working Group Theatre, an award-winning company whose methodology combined interview-based material with fictional stories. Her work was awarded the Kennedy Center’s National Science Playwriting Award, the NEFA Theatre Project Award (with WGT), the NNPN Smith Prize for Political Theatre, and the Susan Glaspell Award. An expat Canadian, she made theatre for many years in Toronto before crossing the border. Her first novel, Beneath the Stairs, will be published by Simon & Schuster in February 2022.

After a successful 30+ year acting/producing/directing career in NYC & LA, this homegrown Ulster County gal is excited to be back to her theatre roots. Dr. Jennifer Delora is an award-winning actress/producer who was the host/producer of Deaf Perspectives and was featured in 2 Emmy Magazine articles. Jennifer attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and has appeared in many stage and film productions in the Hudson Valley including "Driveways", "Crypto" and many more. Jennifer was the Artistic Director of the LA Bridges Theatre Co. of the Deaf as well as the AD & Director of the all-deaf youth choir, "Bridges Sign Choir" and has done performance interpreting for Reba McEntire, Wynonna Judd, Liza Minnelli & more. She was the first Deaf person to host their own talk show called "Deaf Perspectives" which garnered many awards & honors and due to her work regarding representation for Deaf actors.
